Tomer Jacob is Co-Founder and Partner of Aurelius Capital and a General Partner at Hanaco Growth, where he leads growth-stage investments. His thesis is consistent: the most durable companies are built at the intersection of deep technology and large, underserved markets.
Prior to co-founding Aurelius, Tomer served as Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank and a member of UBS's Executive Committee for the EMEA region. Over more than 21 years in global institutional finance, he built expertise across M&A, equity and debt capital markets, advising leading private equity firms including Warburg Pincus, TDR Capital, BC Partners, and Rhône.
He brings a rigor uncommon in venture — the discipline of institutional capital markets applied to the early-stage environment — and a cross-border perspective that is a particular asset in the dual-use market, where Israeli founders must navigate both the Israeli defense ecosystem and U.S. government procurement.
