Shahar brings over five years of experience in venture investing and deal advisory, with a focus on deep tech and defense. As Head of the Investment Team at Aurelius Capital, he leads deals and works closely with founders and portfolio companies, as well as with the fund's domain-expert partners.
Before joining Aurelius, Shahar invested in deep-tech and defense companies at Q Fund, and earlier was part of the deal-advisory team at KPMG. A Captain (res.) who commanded a company during his military service, he holds a degree in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University (dean's list). He is also active in his community, volunteering with Next October to help local startups keep succeeding.
