Admiral (Ret.) Michael S. Rogers is one of the world's foremost authorities on cybersecurity, intelligence operations, and national security strategy. He served as a four-star Admiral in the U.S. Navy for nearly four decades, capping his career as the simultaneous Commander of U.S. Cyber Command and Director of the National Security Agency.
From 2014 to 2018 he directed the United States' most sensitive intelligence gathering, cyber defense, and offensive cyber operations, shaping national cybersecurity policy and building the operational frameworks U.S. Cyber Command uses today. Earlier he served as Director for Intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff and commanded U.S. Fleet Cyber Command / U.S. 10th Fleet.
Since retiring in 2018 he has remained at the center of the global cybersecurity conversation. His network within the U.S. intelligence community, Department of Defense, and Congress is without parallel. He is a distinguished graduate of the National War College and an MIT Seminar XXI Fellow.
