Ehud Lavie is the former Deputy Director of Mossad and former Head of Operations, where he served for nearly 37 years in a broad range of senior operational, command, and executive leadership roles. During his distinguished career he led some of Israel's most complex national security and intelligence initiatives, overseeing global operations and strategic capabilities. In recognition of his exceptional contribution to Israel's national security, he was awarded the Israel Security Award in 2006 — the nation's highest honor for excellence in defense and security.
Since retiring from public service in 2021, Mr. Lavie has focused on advising and leading companies at the intersection of defense, advanced technologies, cybersecurity, and strategic innovation. From 2022 to 2025 he served as Chairman of the Nirosta Zafon Group, a defense manufacturing company operating in Israel and the United States, and he currently serves on the boards of several publicly traded companies within the FIMI Group portfolio, advising on corporate strategy, governance, technology, and security.
Mr. Lavie holds an Executive MBA from Bar-Ilan University, completed the Executive Program in Senior Management at MIT, and was a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School.
